Auxillary Task - Making a Poster

An essential feature to advertising a trailer is a poster or front cover for the film. I have decided to make this poster to reflect on what the trailer is about and encourage people to want to watch the film. This helps when promoting the film and i will try and make it look as professional as possible by following style models and experimenting with different features on photoshop.

I have researched many style models and decided to base my poster using features from different ones as i feel they all have professional attributes.

I want my poster to immediately suggest to the audience what the film will be about. 

Making Changes to Sound

After alot of thought and feed back from Mr Liddell, i changed the original backing music soundtrack from 'Dramatic trailer' to a more suspense gripping track 'Epic Cinematic Movie Trailer'. I felt the more recent one i have chosen fitted in better with the genre and flowed nicely with the contents of my trailer. Also the previous track was not long enough to play through for the whole playing time of the trailer, therefore it was not appropriate.

Another edit of sound i have included in my trailer is sound effects such as a police siren. I have used near the end of the trailer to have the audience questioning and wondering if the victim actually escapes. I think this creates tension and atmosphere as the trailer comes to a close.
