Auxiliary Poster Draft

This is the first draft of my poster auxiliary task, i have created this poster from referring closely to style models, especially when inputting the text at the bottom. I have only used this text as an idea/template of what my poster is actually going to contain.

I will change the content of the text as i add certain institutions into the start of my trailer, for example, i want a particular Warner Brothers clip to feature at the start of my video therefore, the text will change from paramount pictures the rest of the productions i have included, to Warner brothers and my own, RA Productions.

Trailer Draft Changes

Since the first draft of my trailer i have changed it numerous times. I have done this to improve it and make it to the best of my ability. I have followed all the feedback Mr Liddell has gave me and i feel my trailer has developed significantly. 

Overall, i have 5-6 drafts of my trailer, each one improving a small amount each time. Looking at these drafts shows how much progress i have made from the very first draft i shown to my teacher. I feel this shows an accurate representation of how much i have improved from using applications such as iMovie over again, becoming more familiar and comfortable with how it works. Poster - Adding More Text

My poster is developing nicely and i have now added more text similarly to my style model whilst i decide what the text is actually going to contain. I have copied companys from my stle model over to my poster so i know where to put the names of the companies i am actually going to use in my poster. 

I have also included small images of the logos of these companies which again, i will change to the ones that will feature in my trailer. 

Another part i have added is the release date of the film on the front of the poster to inform the audience and anyone that wants to see the film. This makes them aware of the date it will come out in the cinemas.

Poster - Adding Text

The next step i took when making my poster was firstly, adding the main text which included the main title of the trailer and also a smaller subtitle asking a rhetorical question of 'WHO IS HIS NEXT VICTIM?' I used this lay out from one of my style models and i feel it goes well. 

I also added a small line of text at the top of my poster which includes telling the viewers what other films the director of this movie has made. Again, i seen this on one of my style models and felt it makes the poster look professional and also if the film i mentioned was real, (which it is not) it would bring the same audience that are a fan of that film to watch 'STALKER'.

Making a Poster for my Trailer

Firstly, i edited a picture i had photographed and placed it onto a black background ensuring it was mostly dark and shadowed but still had the hooded effect showing. I had used this image in my trailer at the start and end to set the scene and idea of what the film was about in the first place. 

I deliberately edited this image to have no face to give it more of a scary, mysterious effect on the viewing audience and i feel this worked nicely.
